Neil Hillis, PhD
As Chief Architect and Technical Lead, Neil has designed, developed and implemented a variety of complex analytical applications. Prior to joining UpStream, Neil was a principal consultant at SAS Institute. He has worked for retail, automotive and healthcare customers providing services in the areas of analytical CRM, data quality and cleansing, web-based reporting and system architecture. Neil holds a Ph.D. in Astrophysics from the University of California, Irvine.
Tess A. Nesbitt, PhD
Tess is a Statistician with experience in R, SAS and Stata statistical packages. She has managed and analyzed large databases, designed and analyzed clinical trial experiments, and developed customized solutions to solve complex statistical and prediction problems. She holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Santa Clara University and a Ph.D. in Statistics from University of California, Los Angeles.
Daxin Wang, PhD
Daxin is experienced in data manipulation, statistical analysis, reporting processes and application architecture. Over the last 10 years, he has worked in the automobile, internet, financial services, health insurance and clinical trial industries, using SAS, Perl, Unix Scripts and Java. His expertise is in the area of process automation and intelligent reporting system design. He earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
